Tsechu or festival is celebrated in order to commemorate the victory over evils by great saints or masters who flourish peace and happiness by spreading the Buddhism, subduing and converting the evil spirits into their disciples, in return blessing the whole community with good luck, happiness and glamorous life for the eternity and good harvest.  Therefore, festivals are the historical day of offering and must to pay the respect and homage to those masters.
